Boilers
A boiler is a closed vessel in which water or other fluid is heated. The heated fluid exits the boiler for use in heating applications.

Furnaces
A furnace is a unit that combusts the fuel and turns it into heat for your home. The heat may be used in a forced hot-air system, or in combination with a boiler to heat water for your home heating needs.

Direct Vent
These Room Heaters are freestanding energy efficient space heaters with the ability to modulate both the burner and blower to provide maximum efficiency and comfort. They are typically attached to an outside wall, and vent directly to the outside, no chimney needed. Direct-Vent Heaters are attractive, quiet, compact and have a cool-to-the-touch cabinet. Direct vent heaters are clean burning and efficient with a heat exchanger that transfers 84% of consumed gas energy to useful heat.

Radiant Floor Heat
Radiant floor heat works by warming the floor under your feet. It can be a very efficient solution to even steady heat in your home. It also eliminates the need for baseboards or hot air vents, making it easy to fit into your life.

Heating Oil Storage

Homeowners are responsible for the maintenance of their oil tanks and related equipment (fill port and piping) so they do not leak. This is an important and often overlooked piece of home maintenance. Because water can corrode the tank and cause leaks, the common life expectancy of an unprotected steel buried oil tank is 12 to 15 years. Damage to tanks, lack of maintenance of tank/piping/fill port, and poorly fitted piping connections may also cause leaks.

To facilitate replacement of aging or leaking home heating oil tanks, beginning in tax year 2001, New York State provides personal income tax credits of up to $250 for the cost of a replacement tank.
